Flounder with Green Beans


  • 1 6oz. filet of flounder
  • 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp. ground mustard
  • ½ tsp. marjoram
  • ½ cup green beans
  • 1 small shallot, diced (or ¼ sweet onion)
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • salt and pepper


In a small bowl mix the ground mustard and marjoram with the extra virgin olive oil. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Pour the 2 tbsp. of water in to the bottom of the Lekue Steam Case.
Place the green beans, shallot and flounder in the steam case on the tray.
Pour the spice/oil mixture over the fish.
Close the lids and cook in the microwave for 3 minutes at 800watts.
Let the steam case sit with the lids shut for an additional minute.
