String Beans and Potatoes


Beans and Potatoes

  • 1/2 cup (fist full) string beans
  • 1 medium potato (3/4 cup), diced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt and pepper


  • 1 tsp old style/Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 5 tsp olive oil


Dice the potatoes into ½ pieces. Put the water, potatoes, beans, salt and pepper into the Lekue Steam Case. Close lids and cook in microwave for 7 minutes. Remove the case, being careful of the steam. Whisk the ingredients for the dressing and top vegetables with the vinaigrette.
