Trout with Onions and Bacon


  • 2 small trout filets
  • 3 tbsp. chopped bacon
  • 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
  • green pepper, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp. water or fish stock


Place the trout filets in the Lekue Steam Case. Spread the onion, peppers, and bacon over and around the fish. Season to taste with salt and
pepper. Add the water or stock to the steam case. Close the lids, and place in the microwave for 4 minutes at 800 watts. Let sit for 30 seconds with the lids closed before eating.
