A dishwasher is only recommended if it can be programmed at temperatures that do not exceed those specified on the individual product's packaging and if they are placed on the top shelf of the dishwasher, unless they are products made from SBS plastic or Tyvek® in which case they are not suitable for dishwashers.

Great popper. I will donate my air popper - no comparison. I made the simple recipe of 1/3 cup white popcorn, a couple dashes salt, and avocado oil, maybe 2 tsp and my microwave went for 3-4 minutes on high power. I listened for slower popping and then removed from microwave. Delicious!
I bought both sizes ...perfect popcorn without all the chemicals from bagged ones...goes in the dishwasher...can’t get easier than this
I've tried a few other brands of silicone popcorn maker (the one with a self closing flip top), but this one IS THE BEST for use with a microwave. I don't use bags (cancer causing issues). This is THE VERY BEST when used with any microwave over with 1000+ watt. If you want the best theatre popcorn, this is what I;ve done with this popcorn maker: Add 1/3 cup Amish brand baby white or medium white popcorn, 1 generous tablespoon of LouAna Coconut oil, comes in a jar (this is the best coconut oil to achieve theatre style popcorn). Place the lid, pop in the microwave for 2 min 35 seconds (test your oven, it may vary). It's so good just snack on this plain. You won't even need to add any salt (perfect for anyone who has to limit their salt intake too). For toppings I have used these variations as sprinkles and toppings: Japanese furikake seasoning (seaweed flavoring for rice) & white cheddar popcorn powder, add some japanese rice crackers (aka: Hawaiian Hurricane Popcorn) or White truffle oil w/white cheddar popcorn powder or Sharachi powder topping & furikake seasoning Only setback with this, when you remove it from the microwave, the silicone can be a bit flimsy. So use caution when removing from the oven (super hot). Highly recommend this silicone popcorn maker
Can you add a little oil with the popcorn for flavor??
This is a really good microwave popcorn maker. I've used others and found this one to be the best one I've used. It makes eating popcorn much healthier since you use actual popcorn kernels instead of using microwavable unhealthy popcorn. I had to adjust the power level and popping time after using it the first time, but once I did I was so happy I'm able to pop popcorn in the microwave. It's easy to clean after using.
